Covid19 Updates from the SSTC's Nurse's Desk (Ep5))

 

As of June 25, 2020, the country has recorded 678 cases of Covid19. Most of the new cases are imported,   specifically due to the repatriation of our nationals and the reopening of the borders (Airport and seaport). The total number of recoveries is 521, making the active cases 157. The advisory from the Ministry of Health and Wellness remains the same. It emphasizes wearing masks (or some other face covering) when in public spaces, hand washing, sanitizing and the practice of physical distancing.  These practices will help to control the spread of the disease. Hence, it is very important that we all adhere to these protocols. It is understandable that    having been away from each other we are tempted to hug and get close but we must remember physical     distancing.
